We understand that choosing a nursery is both an emotional and financial decision. At Cedar Grove Day Nursery, we offer all-inclusive, high-quality childcare with transparent fees and flexible funding options.
What’s Included in Our Fees
Our fees are outlined in the table below. These cover everything your child needs during their time with us — there are no hidden extras.

Freshly prepared meals and snacks
Milk, water, and drinks
Nappies, wipes, creams
All learning resources and equipment
Outdoor play and activities
Regular communication with families

Notes
Government funding provides up to 15 or 30 hours per week (depending on eligibility).
Fees shown for funded places reflect the cost of additional hours beyond the funded entitlement.
Our fees are all-inclusive – meals, snacks, nappies, wipes, and consumables are provided at no extra charge.
Parents must supply a valid eligibility code (for 30 hours) before the deadline set by the local authority. If eligibility cannot be confirmed, the fee will revert to the universal 15 hours rate.
Fees are payable monthly in advance by direct debit or bank transfer.
One month’s written notice is required to reduce sessions or withdraw your child.
A £50 non-refundable registration fee applies per child.
Fees remain payable during holidays, sickness or absence.
Late collection fees apply if children are not collected at the agreed time.
Fees change the month after your child’s third birthday if funding eligibility changes.
Fees are pro-rata for children starting/leaving partway through a month (based on 51 weeks).
Session Options
We will offer both full day and half day sessions, subject to availability.
AM session: 7:30am – 1:00pm
PM session: 1:00pm – 6:30pm
Full Day: 7:30am – 6:30pm
A minimum number of sessions per week may apply.
Funding We Accept
We accept government-funded hours for eligible working families.
We’re always happy to explain how funding works and guide you through the application process.
Using Funded Hours at Our Nursery
Funded hours can be used as part of your weekly schedule. We’ll work with you to structure your sessions in a way that best supports your family’s needs and nursery availability.
Top-up charges may apply if sessions exceed funded allocations or if additional services are required.
