ABOUT CEDAR GROVE

A place to
feel at home.

Choosing a nursery means finding people you feel comfortable with, and a place where your child can be themselves.

We’re Cedar Grove Day Nursery in Enfield. We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years, with kindness, play and close family relationships at the heart of our approach.

A LITTLE WORLD, THOUGHTFULLY CREATED

Built around
little people.

Our purpose-built nursery on Lancaster Road brings together bright rooms and a secure outdoor garden, with spaces for each age and stage.

From cosy corners to places for lively play, the setting encourages children to explore, find their feet and grow in confidence. Secure entry and carefully chosen resources support the care we give each day.

CARE THAT FEELS PERSONAL

Their own pace.
A familiar face.

You know your child best. Their routines, favourite comforter and the little things that make them smile all help us understand them.

We take time to listen, so you and your child can feel comfortable with this new chapter.

A little more for parents
  1. A gentle first hello

Short settling-in visits give your child time to get used to the nursery. You can stay for part of these visits, and we shape the transition around their needs.

  2. Someone who knows them

A dedicated key person gets to know your child’s routines and interests, supports their development and becomes a familiar point of contact for you.

  3. Keeping you close

Daily handovers, photographs and regular updates help you stay involved. There’s room to ask questions, share changes at home and talk about how your child is getting on.

LEARNING STARTS WITH CURIOSITY

A world to explore.
In their own way.

A question during a story. A new idea in the sand tray. The excitement of finding something outside. We believe there is so much to discover in an ordinary nursery day.

Our approach follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), with learning woven into stories, sensory experiences, imaginative play and outdoor exploration. These experiences support communication, physical development, early literacy and emotional wellbeing.

We encourage children to have another go, share an idea and enjoy finding things out for themselves, with support at their own pace.
