Nursery Manager

The Nursery Manager leads the day-to-day running of Cedar Grove, supporting the team to provide consistent care and learning. They are a point of contact for questions about nursery arrangements, your child’s experience and any concern you would like to discuss privately.

The Manager works with practitioners and families to understand individual needs, review practice and coordinate support. You can ask to meet the Manager when visiting or arrange a conversation at a suitable time.

Deputy Manager

The Deputy Manager works alongside the Nursery Manager and supports the rooms and practitioners throughout the day. They help keep routines and communication consistent, offer practical support to the team and help families find the right person for a question or concern.

Your child’s key person

Every child has a key person who builds a close, trusting relationship with them. They learn about your child’s routines, comforts, interests and ways of communicating, and use that knowledge to support care and learning.

Your key person welcomes your observations, shares progress and helps plan settling in and room transitions. The wider room team also gets to know your child, providing familiar support when their key person is away.

Daily handovers give us a chance to exchange practical information about sleep, food, feelings and changes at home. Famly brings together messages, photographs and learning updates, helping you stay connected and contribute your own observations.
